Our operations

We supply customers from the following locations:

  • Toronto
  • Hamilton
  • Thunder Bay
  • Johnstown

With both waterborne and rail-fed terminals and storage in the US Mid-West, Quebec and Ontario, we are able to source through multiple channels. This minimises our dependence on any one third party provider and reduces the risk of supply disruption for our customers.

We also have a large compliment of railcars in our fleet, so we are able to move gasoline, diesel and biofuels into our terminals, whatever the season.

Investing in fuel infrastructure

Over many years, growth in Canadian fuel demand has not been matched by investment in supply infrastructure, resulting in the supply disruption and outages that are common in the market today.?

Our investments are bringing low-cost fuel and higher
levels of supply reliability to customers in regions that have historically been under served.”

Chief Executive Officer, Greenergy Fuels Canada

Rail-to-road – a new supply concept

Our unique rail-to-road concept:

  • Allows for fully-automated truck-loading directly from railcars.
  • Creates new supply facilities in locations that are convenient for customers, thereby reducing long-haul trucking.
  • Brings greater supply security to the market.

Our first rail-to-road supply facility opened in 2015 at Concord, north of Toronto. We have since doubled the size of the facility to better meet customer demand.

We are continuing to invest in further rail-to-road facilities elsewhere in Ontario, including Thunder Bay, where we have acquired the CAN-OP business, and Johnstown.
